Each day I add music to my soundtrack to 2021 Spotify playlist. Here is the third batch for August.
Saturday 21 August: Synapson – Street Art
I saw a lot of public art and street art in the city of Groningen today.
Sunday 22 August: Remo Anzovino – Frida viva la vida
This afternoon, I went to the cinema to watch Frida viva la vida about the life and art of the Mexican artist Frida Kahlo (1907-1954).
Monday 23 August: Spa Music Paradise – Back Pain Relief
If only a song or single exercise could take away lower back pain, a single prayer would do the trick. I think it’s a combination of gratitude for all the blessings from God, exercise your muscles, pay attention to your breathing, enjoy the sunshine outside, and move instead of sit all day. I’ll keep you posted.
Tuesday 24 August: Brian Keane – Beauty, Wonder, Reflection (Oliver Credits)
I planned to go back to the cinema in Zwolle to watch Oliver Sacks: His Own Life (2019). Because of a broken train, I had to pay another €8,50 to watch it on Picl from home.
Wednesday 25 August: Tangled Hair – Trains are Broken
Another broken train delayed my return trip home. It shouldn’t become associated with working from the office. Otherwise, work from home as a default is too acceptable.
Thursday 26 August: Sandra McCracken – One
It’s #throwbackthursday Singer songwriter Sandra McCracken dared to cover One, made famous by U2 on Achtung Baby (1991). Mary J. Blige collaborated with U2 on her cover version featured on The Breakthrough (2005).
Friday 27 August: Clarence Wood – Short Breathes
Back pain earlier this week kind of resulted in episode 3 of shortage of breath and shots of pain in my torso. Long COVID is opening another chapter.
Saturday 28 August: Kat Von D – Protected
American tattoo artist and model Kat Von D released her debut album Love Made Me Do It yesterday. Today, I used my necessary day of rest for listening and reviewing this synth pop / dark wave production.
Sunday 29 August: Army of Bones – Stay
Please, stay in my arms! Sing that to your loved one. Army of Bones‘ new single inspires.
Monday 30 August: Soca Rebels & Crazy – Doctor’s Advice
I sought advice from my General Practitioner today about the duration and treatment of the pain and short breathing.
Tuesday 31 August: Leonard Cohen – Come Healing
It’s getting better every day. The doctor couldn’t do much next to listening to my story and pressing ribs. Let healing come and stay.
