Each day I add music to my soundtrack to 2021 Spotify playlist. Here is the second batch for March.
Thursday 11 March: LAU – Now I’m In It
Friday 12 March: London Grammar – How Does it Feel
The new London Grammar album Californian Soil is still pending, but today a new single, How Does it Feel, came out. Pop pur sang.
Saturday 13 March: The Script – Rain
No long distance walk but a short #dailymile and yoga stretches because of the rain, thunder and hailstones.
Sunday 14 March: Over the Rhine – Give Me Strength
I guess you know that music is your lifelong fling when you begin counting the decades since the release of a song cycle. Happy that this one has a small but devoted (and vocal) chorus of believers who call it their favorite OtR album. Thx all things Albumism for the well wishes! https://t.co/Wy0GDWlfGx
— Over the Rhine (@overtherhine) March 13, 2021
Yesterday’s tweet brought back good memories of Films for Radio (2001) by Over the Rhine. I selected Give Me Strength as so like the ‘Til We Have Faces (1991/1995) era, yet so unlike the post 2001 Americana albums.
Monday 15 March: Michael Arthur Koner – Sunrise Walk
That’s what I did this morning on day #1 of the #healthyhabitsbingorun organized by the Capgemini running community.
Tuesday 16 March: Flatfoot 56 – Sorry
Yes, Flatfoot 56, always a pleasure to see this punk rock band playing at a festival, is still alive. They’re back to say Sorry.
Wednesday 17 March: Chloe x Halle – Busy Boy
Today’s signature song.
Thursday 18 March: Peter Wilson & Sean Smith – One and One
This #throwbackthursday you can listen to Peter Wilson & Sean Smith Italodisco cover of late Robert Miles‘ One and One (1996).
Friday 19 March: James Buddy Rogers – Buddy’s Walk
My daily walk was in company of Klazien, my ‘best buddy’.
Saturday 20 March: Tiumi Orokoya Telemi – I tested positive
COVID-19 sneaked in our household. Both my wife and I tested positive this morning. And, no, it’s not just another flu.
