Each day I add music to my soundtrack to 2021 Spotify playlist. Here is the third batch for February.
Sunday 21 February: Pike Cavalero – Spring is in the air
Can you imagine that only a week ago I was ice skating? It’s sunny with 17 degrees Celcius today, and it feels like Spring.
Monday 22 February: Daft Punk – Give Life Back to Music
After 28 years, French duo Daft Punk announced to quit the music scene. Their funky tunes will be remembered.
Tuesday 23 February: Danny Bensi & Saunder Jurriaans – Conclusion
Last Sunday, I watched The White Tiger (2021) on Netflix. Conclusion is taken from the OST.
Wednesday 24 February: The River Versus – Predicting the Past, Presenting the Future: I
This late afternoon, I had the opportunity to present my PoV on the future of project management to the PMI Netherlands Chapter in a knowledge-sharing café online meeting. As a follow-up/re-use of the materials and thoughts presented, I published this blog. There’s a song for it too.
Thursday 25 February: Soraya & Julian Poker – Mysterious Times
It’s #throwbackthursday again. Today, a up-tempo retrowave cover by Soraya & Julian Poker of Sash! feat. Tina Cousins – Mysterious Times (1998). Sash! actually is a German DJ/production team, fronted by Sascha Lappessen, Ralf Kappmeier and Thomas “Alisson” Lüdke. In the 90s they had great success with the hits Encore Une Fois and Ecuador. Guilty pleasures, CD’s still in the house 🙂
Friday 26 February: Roosevelt – Forget
German act Roosevelt released the new album Polydans today. Forget is recognizable, relatable, and smooth synth pop meets funk.
Saturday 27 February: Starpicker & Nikolauss – Schiphol
Schiphol Airport, the start of a 40kms walk today.
Sunday 28 February: Bob Marley & The Wailers – Misty Morning
After a sunny Saturday, it’s a misty Sunday morning.
