Each day I add music to my soundtrack to 2020 Spotify playlist. Here’s the list for the second batch in December.
Friday 11 December: Future of Forestry – Abundance
Tonight I had the chance to volunteer in the Jumbo supermarket in Dedemsvaart to collect groceries that the shopping public could buy on top of their list in order to create Christmas gift boxes for poor people in the village. Some say it’s good to share from our abundance, others think the government should care for the poor. Churches are stepping in. Love is what drives us.
Saturday 12 December: Schiller – Der goldene Engel
Schiller is releasing yet another album on 12 February 2021, titled Summer in Berlin. The lead single is called Der goldene Engel, the golden angel on top of the Siegesäule (victory column) at the Grosser Stern (Big Star) square in Berlin, one of the must-sees when you’re in the capital of Germany.
Sunday 13 December: Ajimal – After All, Be Kind
This weekend I finished reading Love-based Leadership by Dr. Maria Church and started in Cultural Architecture: A Path to Creating Vitalized Congregations by Douglas A Hill. Love is the message, and the message is love. Therefore, Ajimal‘s song Above All Else, Be Kind.

Tuesday 15 December: IV4 – Moodboard
As part of an end of year gathering of all the squads in our area, we went out to take pictures in order to create a moodboard for the Area Leadership Team.
Wednesday 16 December: B. Fleischmann – Broken Monitors
One of the three monitors on my desk broke down tonight. 🙁
Thursday 17 December: Georgia – Running Up That Hill
It is #throwbackthursday again. Last week, I found a synth-pop cover of Kate Bush‘s Running Up That Hill (1985) by London dance-pop musician Georgia Barnes.
Friday 18 December: Implse – Transformation 2020
Work for my customer ended this morning….for 2020. In the afternoon I met my Transformation & Innovation domain members, fellow Capgemini consultants, for a design thinking session on our setup and plan for 2021.
Saturday 19 December: Mr. Santé & Sushileaf – Shopping Carts With Turbo Jets
After my long-distance hike, I had the first Christmas shopping round at the Lidl supermarket in Hengelo. I wish I had a cart with a turbo jet to collect everything from my shopping list and drive home ASAP.
Sunday 20 December: Aditi Bhavaraju, Ramya Behra & Sri Krishna – Naa Chinni Lokkammea
Yesterday night, I watched Miss India. Taken from the OST, here’s the closing track Naa Chinni Lokkammea (translated from Telugu to my small world).
