Each day I add music to my soundtrack to 2020 Spotify playlist. Here’s the list for the second batch in November.
Wednesday 11 November: Ace Marino & Roniit – Holding My Breath
Thursday 12 November: Gunship – Eleanor Rigby
Friday 13 November: CUT_ – Every1’s a Winner
Today, I collected my prizes won at the virtual walks with the Pronkjewailspel in Groningen, combined with a 39 kilometers walk in and around the city. Amsterdam based electronic music duo CUT_ released Every1’s A Winner today. Sounds good.
Saturday 14 November: Icon for Hire – Seeds
Yesterday, Icon for Hire released their new single, Seeds. In your face electro rock!
Sunday 15 November: White Heart – How Many Times (Seventy Times Seven)
Monday 16 November: The Echoing Green – The Story of our Lives
Finally, the double vinyl record box with Violent Whispers: Songs & Stories from the Echoing Green (2002-2018) could be collected from the local post office. As a true The Echoing Green fan I took the import tax for granted.
Tuesday 17 November: CLAVVS – Dance in Place
The habit to share GIFs upon checking into the umptieth Teams meeting leads to choices like “Can’t be tamed”, “Dancing”. There’s music to it from American indie pop duo CLAVVS. The two sound like Dido meets AURORA.
Wednesday 18 November: Barvini Hawks – Teaching Always
I delivered a PRINCE2 Foundation training from 8.30 AM – 4.30 PM, a Dutch conversation lesson from 5.00 PM – 6.00 PM, and taught our church small group on Revelation during 7.30 PM and 9.30 PM. It sounds like always teaching.
Thursday 19 November: Sophie Ellis-Bextor – Crying at the Discotheque
On 13 November, UK pop singer Sophie Ellis-Bextor released her greatest hits album Songs from the Kitchen Disco. It features two covers, one of which is her remake of Alcazar ‘ 2001 hit. #throwbackthursday
Friday 20 November: Kevin Max – Righteous Rocker #1
