Each day I add music to my soundtrack to 2020 Spotify playlist. Here’s the list for the third row of days in April.
Tuesday 21 April: BLØF – Hou Vol Hou Vast
No events, concerts, group walks, Kennedy Marches, Four-days walks until 1 September. Continue to work from home. It’s hard to accept this and the huge damage done to the economy as an offer for the relatively few impacted by the corona virus.
Wednesday 22 April: Johann Sebastian Bach & Softcore Express – Prelude and Fugue No.7 in E-Flat Major, BWV 852
Today, I started a musical challenge on Facebook to showcase five album covers that were crucial for the development of my musical tastes and capabilities. First: Switched-On Bach (1981).
Thursday 23 April: Petra – God Gave Rock’n Roll To You
It’s both #throwbackthursday and the second day in the Facebook challenge to showcase an album cover that was core to my musical upbringing. Back to 1985’s Beat the System album by Petra. Here’s God Gave Rock’n Roll To You.
Friday 24 April: The Choir – Chase the Kangaroo
On the third day of the Facebook challenge, I highlight the 1988 Chase the Kangaroo album by The Choir. Consider is the opening track, the starting point of more than 30 years of love for this wave/rock band.
Saturday 25 April: Dolly en zien Tarrels – Groeten uut Drenthe
Greetings from Drenthe, where I was walking a 43 kilometers hike today.
Sunday 26 April: Koinonia – Frontline
Here’s the title track of the fourth album I wanted to show to my Facebook friends. Koinonia’s jazz-rock, smooth jazz, and fusion influenced my musical taste since 1986.

It’s King’s Day!
Tuesday 28 April: Tramaine Hawkins – The Search is Over
