Each day I add music to my soundtrack to 2020 Spotify playlist. Here’s the list for the second row of days in April.
Saturday 11 April: Color Theory – Infectuous
Sunday 12 April: Travis Cottrell & Elicia Brown – Ain’t No Grave / Alive Forever
Easter 2020: Jesus Christ is risen from the grave. He’s alive forevermore.
Monday 13 April: Swaroop Khan – Crazy Lagdi
Yesterday night, I watched the Bollywood movie Motichoor Chaknachoor (2019).
Tuesday 14 April: Clean Bandit – Work from Home
Four days Easter weekend is over. Let’s go back to work from home.
Wednesday 15 April: Cathrin – Kite
Amidst all the COVID-19 work from home, am I duped or not, can a lock-down be unlocked soon stuff, it’s a pleasure to listen to a pop song about unconditional love. Thanks to Olso-based Cathrin providing us “delightfully kitsch electropop that goes from showcasing bubbly synths to dramatic piano”!
Thursday 16 April: The Choir & Leigh Nash – What You Think I Am
It’s #throwbackthursday The Choir reimagined their 2014 song What You Think I Am that was on the Shadow Weaver album with more Leigh Nash, guitars and percussion. I’m satisfied with the resulting cover.
Friday 17 April: White Door – Soundtrack of our Lives
Brand new synth pop / new wave from White Door.
Saturday 18 April: Vanessa Carlton – The Only Way to Love
We’re celebrating my wife’s birthday in a limited family setting thanks to COVID-19.
Sunday 19 April: Cream – Sunshine of Your Love
Sunshine is here to stay these weeks, as love is for our family members, congregation, friends, and colleagues.
Monday 20 April: Moyka – Spaces
Brand new music suggested last Friday: Norwegian singer Moyka has Spaces from her upcoming second EP.
