Henk-Jan’s soundtrack to 11-20 January 2020

Each day I add music to my soundtrack to 2020 Spotify playlist. Here’s the list for the second time in 2020.

Saturday 11 January: Four Tops – Keeper of the Castle

With Klazien, I visited the castle De Haar near Utrecht.

Sunday 12 January: Jeremy Camp – Christ in Me

John 17 was the central text in this morning’s sermon. Jeremy Camp too wants his life to be ‘Christ in Me’.

Monday 13 January: Rose Royce – Car Wash

A speedy car wash after working hours this afternoon. A pearl white car seems to get more dirty than those with other colors.

Tuesday 14 January: Eefje de Visser – Oh

Eefje de Visser is back with new dream pop material, and is touring in Europe.

Wednesday 15 January: Planetshakers – Heaven on Earth

With our church’s small group that gathers bi-weekly, I started a Bible study series on ‘heaven’ tonight. And yes, the spiritual realm with God everywhere is close by to save us on the Earth.

Thursday 16 January: Alex Turner – Stuck on the puzzle

The 3,000 pieces in the history of Deventer puzzle are falling into place….piece by piece. And sometimes I feel stuck and leave the table.

Friday 17 January: Calming Jazz Relax Academy

I passed the SAFe 5.0 Agilist exam this morning.

Saturday 18 January: Gabrielle Aplin – Invisible

One of Friday’s new releases was the fine pop album Dear Happy by British singer-songwriter Gabrielle Aplin (1992). I handpicked Invisible.

Sunday 19 January: Arjit Singh & Alyssa Mendonsa – Kaash

Today, I finished watching the Indian movie The Zoya Factor (2019) that I began Friday night. Kaash by Arjit Singh & Alyssa Mendonsa was taken from the OST.

Monday 20 January: New Order – Blue Monday

It’s Blue Monday, for some the most depressive day of the year. Why should you play with it? Anyway, here’s New Order with Blue Monday.
