Each day I add music to my soundtrack to 2019 Spotify playlist. Here’s the list for the second leg June 2019.
Tuesday 11 June: RED – The Evening Hate
Last week, RED announced their new single, The Evening Hate plus a 14 minutes war-stricken film. Go, watch and listen!
Wednesday 12 June: SCHWARZ – Shine
Last weekend, I reviewed White Room, the debut album of German singer, movie soundtrack composer, and guitar player, SCHWARZ. Rather than picking one of the already released singles, I recommend you to listen to Shine.
Thursday 13 June: Moby – The Perfect Life (live)
It’s #throwbackthursday. Last week I stumbled upon 2014 live concert footage of Moby in The Fonda, Los Angeles playing The Perfect Life, originally on the 2013 Innocents album. What an energy!
Friday 14 June: Color Theory – Sniper
Sniper is the fastest track Color Theory ever recorded. It perfectly fits my Running on 160 BPM tracks playlist.
Saturday 15 June: Janneke Jager – Groningen
The University of Groningen has its 405th anniversary today. I attended the Throwback Saturday for alumni.
Sunday 16 June: Timmy Thomas – Every Day is Father’s Day
Why reserve this Sunday for Father’s Day?
Monday 17 June: Gable Price and Friends – Magnetic Love
Great new wave song by Gable Price and Friends, discovered by Leon van Wijngaarden. The beauty of shared Spotify playlists.
Tuesday 18 June: Justice Skolnik & Sarah Reeves – Wildside
You bring out the wild side, according to Sarah Reeves teaming with Justice Skolnik (MGMT).
Wednesday 19 June: Chez Damier & Ron TYrent – Foot Therapy
Get on your feet and dance! Heel spurs?! Today I went to the foot therapist again.
Thursday 20 June: Brioni Faith – Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This)
On this #throwbackthursday we’ll revisit the 1983 Eurythmics signature song Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This), recently covered by New Zealand born EDM / industrial dance act Brioni Faith.
