In 2016 I beat the HotSpotify 366 challenge, for which I added one special song each day to a Spotify playlist, I had too much to leave it there. As follow-up I created Henk-Jan’s soundtrack to 2017 in Spotify.

Today’s the time to walk again. Yesterday my heartrate was that low that the doctor at Sanquin Bloodbank wasn’t surprised to hear about my love for duration sports like running and long distance walking.
Sunday, 5 February: Mensenkinderen – Geef kostbaar Licht
Yesterday evening I went to the concert of Dansu in Ekko, Utrecht. Bas van Nienes and his musical friends have another band, Mensenkinderen. March 1, Het Liedboek der Mensenkinderen album will be released. Geef kostbaar Licht is the first anthem newly arranged for this record.
Monday, 6 February: Katie Herzig – I Want to Make You Proud
Katie Herzig is back with new music. The Walk Through Walls album from 2014 is succeeded by the lead single I Want To Make You Proud. It sounds like a well deserved next pop album.
Tuesday, 7 February: Stereoclip – Lost in Brussels
Hopefully a joke, but I’m back in Brussels.
Wednesday, 8 February: Call Home
This Irish sisters show vocals hinting at Kate Boy. Heathers are showcased today with their June 2016 Call Home. Today church’s small group powered by Skype or Google Hangout hosted from a Brussels hotel room. Let’s call home.

Friday, 10 February: The Naked and Famous – The Runners
Tonight’s weekend opening will be celebrated with The Naked and Famous in Tivoli Vredenburg in Utrecht. I’m looking forward to see and hear Simple Forms, In Rolling Waves, and Passive Me, Aggressive You played live. The Runners is one of those tracks I love to play loud while driving 😉
