How could I survive without a selfie stick? Long arms, my 1.93m length and a front camera on my Samsung Galaxy Ace 3 compensated until now. iOttie offered me to test drive their newest MiGo selfie stick ($29.99 at Amazon.com).
In the box you’ll find the stick, a universal micro USB charge cable, a wrist band and instructions to get started. Simply twist, pull and lock the stick to the desired length. You can choose from 8.7 inches to 32 inches. The head part is adjustable to give the desired angle for your photograph.
You connect the stick to your camera using Bluetooth 3.0. The stick is targeted at iPhone 6s Plus 5, Galaxy S6 5 Note 5, Android Smartphones users. My Samsung Galaxy Ace 3 running Android 4.2.2 didn’t have any problems to pair with the stick. There are no additional cables needed, so even the phone case can stay on your phone. The MiGo holds devices from 1.9 inches to 3.5 inches. You can mount the MiGo selfie stick on a Tripod. The MiGo is GoPro compatible meaning you can attach your GoPro to the MiGo as long as you still have the screw! Simply attach it and you are ready to film.
The ease of use, yes I tried at home first, and the slick design (black / green) deserve compliments. The quality of your front and back camera do make the difference, apart from your own photography skills. At the left a first selfie taken with the limited front-camera. The other one I took was by turning the camera in the head of the selfie stick. While taking the picture you cannot see the result on the screen, but it’s definitely sharper.
